Project Details
This project was constructed on a timber floor and a uni pier system. Underfloor insulation was installed on this project. The product we use is foil board insulated panels. This product has been engineered and designed to ensure a quick and easy installation of a non-itchy, fibre-free rigid insulation panel that will provide continuous thermal performance for the life of the building.
Green foil board is commonly used on all our timber floor granny flats to meet Basix requirements and to improve the thermal performance of your Granny Flat.
This design consists of a separate bathroom and laundry, open linen cupboard with shelving, wardrobe interiors, walls painted in Haymes Vivid White, Terrace Rio 4.5mm vinyl plank floors throughout, low profile ceiling fans to each bedroom with LED light, 3.5KW Actron reverse circle air conditioning, modern downlights throughout, Polytec classic white matt kitchen, custom vanity with 20mm Smartstone Gelsomino stone tops providing that coastal relax and inviting atmosphere.
The exterior features Weathertex Selflok Millwood Smooth Cladding, Colorbond Surfmist roof, gutters, fascia, and Bradnams aluminium powder-coated pearl-white door and window frames. The automatic sliding gate, driveway, and carport are another advantage of this property, thanks to its rear lane access.
Peter and his team, were very helpful and proactive to deal with. They took time to carefully consider the positioning of our granny flat on the block. They had plans to us in a timely manner, the project ran slightly ahead of schedule and with extensive details in the handover. All materials selected were supplied without hiccup. Peter was proactive in dealing with us, keeping us in the loop, providing progress photos and providing ideas for final landscape design, which we outsourced. Aeden from the team was always helpful and available to chat to if we had a question. I would not hesitate to recommend them. We will be using them again, should we have the need to build again.
