Two-Bedroom Granny Flat Investment Project: Greta St, Aberdare, in the Hunter Valley, NSW

We recently completed this 2-bedroom Granny Flat for a couple of local investors in Aberdare, located within the Cessnock Council. The goal of the project was to create a dual rental income opportunity on the property. The design was based on our Lisarow standard internal floor plan, with a minor modification to the bathroom layout to better suit the client’s needs. The build had excellent access via a rear lane, and the site presented no significant issues throughout the construction process, allowing us to complete the project smoothly and efficiently.
This Granny Flat is a fantastic example of how a well-planned investment property can add value and generate additional income.

 This Aberdare granny flat boasts a modern, low-maintenance layout, featuring a generous stone-topped kitchen and breakfast bar. Features include quality appliances, a stack bond splashback, a custom vanity with matching stone, luxury vinyl plank flooring in the living area, carpet in the bedrooms, a 3.5 kW split system, modern downlights, ceiling fans, mirrored wardrobes, a linen cupboard, cladding, and a covered front patio.
